KL2 Career Development Award
The KL2 Career Development Awards Program at Washington University in St. Louis provides high-quality, multidisciplinary training in clinical and translational research to promote the career development of future clinical investigators. This program provides financial support and benefits that allow scholars to focus on mentored, multidisciplinary research, supplemented by applicable coursework.
This multidisciplinary program reserves one position each year for a St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH) Scholar. The SLCH Scholar is selected specifically for this appointment based on a strong research project that addresses the needs of children and adolescents.

K12 Career Development Award for Clinical Oncology
The goal of the K12 Paul Calabresi Career Development Award for Clinical Oncology is to train a new generation of highly- skilled investigators with specialized expertise who will be well prepared to lead cancer research. The K12 Clinical Oncology program supports the development of postdoctoral scholars and junior faculty through patient oriented cancer research training, curricula, and mentored projects. K12 Hematology Scholar Program
The Clinical Hematology Research Career Development Program at Washington University (Hematology CDP) is a new initiative of the NIH Roadmap that will prepare trainees (Heme Scholars) to address complex clinical and translational research problems in non-malignant hematology. T32 Transdisciplinary Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program
Training researchers in cancer prevention and control is a central mission of the Division of Public Health Sciences of the Department of Surgery, Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, and the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of Siteman Cancer Center. The T32 Transdisciplinary Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program is a unique asset to the school and region, as it prepares both PhD and MD researchers to be independent investigators in transdisciplinary research for cancer prevention and control. Trainees will complete a combination of mentored research activities, didactic training and seminar presentations. Trainees can tailor their experiences to meet their professional needs. WUNDIR
The Washington University Network for Dissemination and Implementation Research (WUNDIR), established in 2010, is an informal network of researchers with a common interest in dissemination and implementation science in a variety of different settings and sectors (e.g., mental health services, public health, diabetes, acute care, emergency medicine, obesity, cancer, tobacco).
WUNDIR holds regular half-day meetings to learn about new resources for D&I science, to provide peer critique of papers and grant proposals, and to plan joint projects. The group works to forge a transdisciplinary understanding of the methodological issues and conceptual challenges required for multi-year dissemination and implementation research grants. Group meetings are scheduled about every six weeks, and are open to everyone.
